Did I hear "Fair World Trade"?

America complains that Europe is being partial to Airbus by offering low cost government loans. If its all about fair world trade, what about the huge agricultural subsidy that America offers to its farmers? These subsidies lower the price of agricultural produce. And who suffers the most? Poor farmers in poor countries, in Africa for example, who cannot compete with such low prices.

Truly, America needs to put its house in order before pointing its finger at others.

"Fair World Trade" has always been an oxymoron of sorts.
"Fair" just means its fair in the eyes of the Americans, fair-with a perspective that suits their needs.
such blatant hypocrisy can be displayed only by Americans.
but being the most developed country i n the world, with such a vibrant economy, must have its benefits right! :-p

Europeans also subsidize their farm products! India also subsidize farm products! India being a socialist economy, subsidizes are so much higher than other nations.

No doubt many nations subsidize their farm products (and other products as well). That is not the point here. America raises the topic of Fair World Trade in cases (such as Airbus vs Boeing) where market domination is the main objective and conveniently forgets the impact of its farm product subsidization on poor farmers and poor countries such as Africa. Obviously, there is a much greater cause to support Fair world trade in farming first.
